Henderson Family Session

Fishcreek Park, Calgary

Michelle and I have known each other for several years now...we worked together at the Foothills Hospital, and then I took care of her little one, Makena in my day home when I decided to work from home. 

I began a career in photography 5 years ago, and in that time Michelle and Carey added another sweet little baby to their family...well, maybe not so much a baby these days. Tyler is a curious, playful little guy and although his disdain for posing was at times challenging, (not that I don't love a good challenge)..his expressions and energy were certainly captured with this session. AND what a smile he has- and those eyes, oh boy. 

Makena was also such a joy to photograph, she always had a beautiful sparkling smile to give me. She is so sweet natured, and soooo pretty with those big blue eyes and golden hair. 

All in all a gorgeous family with tons of personality.

 I'm glad that we were finally able to make this happen..enjoy the preview...

Surette Family Session 2013

Inglewood, Calgary

What a great start to family photo season! The Surette family are friends of ours, in fact our boys are basically joined at the hip...which made this session a lot more fun for me. We decided to go with an urban setting to start things off, and actually ended with a softer more natural background to wrap it up. Both looks faired well with this modern, super energetic family.

Cohen, Skye, and Chloe were awesome, giving me their best smiles, occasional frowns, and strong man poses..all in all, a great shoot. Thanks you guys, and enjoy the preview...

Introducing Daylen...

I'm so excited about introducing my newest Nephew to the world...baby Daylen.

From the moment I set eyes on him in my sisters hospital room, I was instantly in love. He's so precious, and such a happy baby...

This was a long & uncomfortable pregnancy for my little sis, but so worth the wait. He's amazing, and such a wonderful addition to our ginormous family!

Karina, Earl, and Ava, your beautiful family is now complete..congratulations to all of you.

Landry Family Winter 2012

This was one of my last family sessions for 2012...

Normally I prefer doing sessions outdoors, however chilly days are now upon us so we decided to keep it inside and just have some fun with it.

Kylie & Sean have a beautiful home, with some beautiful & colourful/textured walls, so I was excited to see what I could come up with...

Little Quinn was just a joy to shoot- her huge smile and face full of expressions sure made it fun for me, and I'm thrilled with the results of this wonderful session.

Padget Family 2012

This session took place on one of our final warm days of the season, actually if I recall correctly, the weather turned for the worst the following morning. So I was thrilled that we were able to make this special session happen. 

I've known Laura for many years now, and it's been wonderful watching her family grow. She, along with her brother & his family were hoping to do something special for their parents upcoming 40 year wedding anniversary...and there's nothing better than creating lasting memories. And that's exactly what we did...
